3000 Shot Club

3000 Shot Club...is an outcome of strong fundamentals
Become a member of the 3000 Shot Club. All Members will receive a 3000 Shot Club T-shirt and will be recognized at a varsity game during the season.
The WGBA is making this program available to encourage our girls to practice during the off-season. The club is available to all Traveling and Recreation League players.
To become a member each player must make and record 3000 shots from June 1st through August.
Players must record “Made Shots” on the Shot Tally Calendar and we strongly encourage you to use the shot chart provided. Shots must be made on a 10 foot basket and with an appropriate size ball (28.5). You are on your honor and at the completion of 3000 made shots we ask that a parent verify by signing the calendar 3000 Shot Club members will be awarded a “300O Shot Club” T-shirt at halftime of a varsity game.
Perfect practice makes perfect habits. It is important that our players are practicing with good shooting form. In the links section of the WGBA website there is a link for the Swish Shooting method that will show you how to develop a dependable and consistent shot.
